Creating a Nurturing Environment for Cave People: Insights from Human Design

Human Design is a powerful tool for understanding your unique physical, mental, and emotional characteristics. One aspect of Human Design is the environment, which outlines the space that your body resonates best to. There are six Environments to study in Human Design: the Cave, Market, Kitchen, Mountain, Valley and Shore. Your Body will resonate to one of these Environments and each one calibrated to an archetype reflects the energy and influences that surround us in our daily lives.

My environment is Caves — Blending. I thought it would be fun to outline how to help cultivate a nurturing environment for a Caves person. As a child, I would often crawl under the kitchen cabinets and lock myself away from the chaos of life — it felt extremely comforting and safe. Caves people are characterized by a need for privacy, introspection, and a supportive and nurturing environment.

If you have a Cave person in your life, it's important to understand their unique needs and tendencies in order to create a supportive and nurturing environment that brings out their best qualities. Here are some tips for creating a nurturing environment for Cave people:

  1. Respect their need for privacy: Cave people need time and space to recharge and process their thoughts and feelings. They need an environment that allows them to retreat and be alone when they need it. It's important to respect their privacy and not intrude into their space without permission.

  2. Provide emotional support: Cave people tend to be introspective and emotional, and they need a supportive and nurturing environment that allows them to explore their feelings and process their thoughts. Encourage them to talk about their experiences and provide a listening ear when they need it.

  3. Create a peaceful environment: Cave people need peace and calm in their environment to feel centered and balanced. Encourage them to create a peaceful and calming space in their home or workplace, and limit distractions and stress-inducing activities.

  4. Encourage self-discovery: Cave people are deeply introspective and are always looking for ways to better understand themselves. Encourage them to explore their passions and interests, and support their journey of self-discovery.

By understanding the unique needs and tendencies of Cave people in Human Design, you can create a supportive and nurturing environment that brings out their best qualities. Embrace the individuality of your Cave loved ones and support them in their journey of self-discovery.
